ALPHA

We think this course will be of interest to you. Alpha is an excellent forum in which to investigate the Christian Faith. The format includes the following elements: refreshments or a meal, a 45 min. video presentation addressing key issues, small group response and questions. There is no cost and no pressure. We are offering the course at two different times hoping that one of these opportunities will fit your schedule. The courses begin the week of Sept. 29th. Please let us know quickly if you are interested. You are welcome to try the first few sessions to see what you think.

Alpha was developed By Holy Trinity Brompton, an Anglican church in London, England over the last 22 years. The success and popularity of this course is evident in its world wide use and acceptance. Tens of thousands of courses are running in more than 118 countries. The program has been translated into nearly 50 languages. The course is being offered across the Christian spectrum of denominations and is receiving high interest right across Canada. Its strength lies in its clarity and humour. What's involved?

The Alpha course consists of a series of talks looking at topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?' After each talk we divide into small groups and discuss any questions raised from the talk.

• Those wanting to investigate Christianity
• Newcomers to the church
• New Christians
• Those who want to brush up on the basics

There is no charge for the Alpha course.
